  Really friendly staff and awesome sights to see. The old ruins and renovated prisons really gave a somber feel to the place. The Ghost tours were amazing with an excellent guide that adds another dimension to the place

  We started the day off with a walking tour where our guide took us around to some of the major sites/buildings. He explained the history of them in detail and it was absolutely incredible to learn about the tragic things that went on at this place. We then had some time to explore the buildings before going on the Harbour Cruise. We then spent the afternoon finishing off learning about the buildings and walking around the site. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you're going in winter make sure you dress warmly as the breeze off the water makes it quite chilly!

  Unbelievable experience. This place is full of history and magic. It's beautiful, calm and gives you chills all over whenever you enter any of the buildings in the area. A visit is a must to this place for anyone who steps feet in Tasmania.
